I ran the old school v1 xforce headers with the wagon and they flowed fine @ 2bar. (the welds weren't so happy however ) We are still talking small capacity engines here. Without back to back real time results its all heresay. Sure if you're chasing the pentultimate horsepower result port matching and flowtesting is king, but the word 'budget' falls by the wayside fairly quickly.

Equal length sounds better btw

Speak to Pat at Mettams(Morley) about ways to get the noise down as there are a few other things you can do that hopefully won't reduce the flow as much! (my old WRX was stupidly loud after getting some new bits from ASG and they managed to quieten it down somewhat without taking away from the flow too much!)

Good stuff with the headers/turbo! Sean and Nic are definitely the ones to get advice from, so I'm sure you will be on your way soon!
I'll see how it goes for a few days, Pat said it may quieten up a bit one the mufflers bed in and carbon up a bit.

Hardly ever, the car only has 33,000kms on it and the engine around 8000kms.

Doesn't sound too bad actually. Nice video, and nice driving too

I'm a big fan of portmatching, polishing, flowtesting etc - did it to everything (throttle body, intake manifold, exhaust, intake, intercooler, turbo) on my white wrx and combined made a significant difference. But unless I pay someone to do it to the black one it won't happen as I'm not meant to be working on it myself
