You only live once!

But I reckon you are better sticking with the GC8

Issues from factory encountered so far...
  • rattles from the A & B pillars
  • rattles from the rear parcel shelf

Car is a money pit, focus on something that you can enjoy for years to come, e.g. house, harem, etc

Dont worry Dave, I will just leave it in your driveway when I own it

Turns out it was the coilover screw-on bracket came loose and stuff was knocking around a bit.

Alright so RE my original plans for the car, I am making some decent progress I think. I am in the process of gathering up bits and pieces to work on the Turbo and Cooling side of things, and also the STi GD Interior. So far I have an 05 STi TMIC with BOV ready to go. Also have aquired the rear GD Seat.

I have spoken with Ross and a couple of other guys and I will probably opt for a TD05-18G, seems to be a good balance of what I am after, but also what my motor can probably withstand.

When its Tax Time, I think I will use it to get my 6 Speed, and put the rest into my house deposit.
So currently I am chasing the GD Clutch Reservoir to make the TMIC install easier to manage, and still looking around for front GD Seats.

Call the guys at JWS and see if they will give you discount if you group a few purchases together.

When it come's time to purchase your house, give me a buzz and ill come over have a beverage with you and tell you how much you can borrow and which bank product is best for you, then write your application to said bank/lender when you are ready. etc etc (i.e. i take the pain and stress out of buying a house)

The best advice I can give any GC8 owner is DO NOT fit GD Sti seats to it - they are way too high for the car. You will regret it.

Track down some V3/4/5/6 sti seats - direct fit, right height, and probably hold you in better. Retrim them in blue if that is a driving factor.
Master D and Jezza like this.
