STD's are in - Car is Lowered!

I am now at a point where I feel the car is where I want it to be in terms of it being a money sink - the car will now only benefit from more serious changes such as 6 Speed, Turbos, Engine, or full handling package upgrades.

Its been almost a year now since I had the car - and I am very happy that I stuck to my short-term plan for fixing up various problems with the car.

I can now confirm that the car must have been in some sort of accident before I bought it - the front left bumper was loose, the front left foglight was smashed - and today we found out that the front left suspension strut had been replaced. The other 3 corners were ORIGINALs, thats right, totally worn out after 11 years of use..

To be continued =)

You could have all of those things for $6-8k

But seriously it looks way better with the coilovers, will hopefully see it at the mcrae cruise!

I would be inclined to do handling before power Cam. Most others will tell you the same.
Get the car sorted handling wise with current power, then start engine mods.

You can do sways, strut braces, and anti lift all for about $1k, and it will make the world of difference.

Personally I would go PowerFC over a Link. Having said that though I am planning on an Autronic.

Whatever path I choose to go - the AFM/MAF Must die! My new one is ruined from rain already because I have open bonnet vents (doh!).

PowerFC and Autronics are old now, My thoughts are to go with something newer/current that still is updated and maintained.

@mARC - Nope, going away for 3 months work trip all paid for - so all my salary becomes free money when I get home
