Saving you some money -
choose MoTec or Verso not both, each has merits so speak to your tuner - STechnic.

Ah ok, I thought motec is the product and verso was the tune type.

STechnic is not a tuner.

ASG does the Verso tune and can tune motec. Verso cannot be done on pre MY01 cars either.

correct me wif im wrong but i think gc8's have the only ecu that will relearn itself..

Now I is confused So does that mean that my GC8 can keep its ecu, but we just reflash and tune it?

your gc8 cant be reflashed or have the original ecu retuned in anyway.
you have a few options in replacement ecus:
Power FC
Motec
Autronic
Link
theres a few other, but they're the most common

Theres also piggyback ecu's you can use which uses the stock ecus settings and allows you to tune certain settings.

You can't verso your car.

You get MoTeC - which is an ECU that will be tuned (by MMS, ASG, RMS etc) or you get Link, Autronic or PowerFC for your car.

I would chose Autronic SM4, cheaper than MoTeC but similar functions.

Also, re-think the GD STI scoop. IMO it looks out of place on gc's
