Nice work Burke and excellent times. Yeah, there are a lot of very quick cars doing SES. I take it that's Simon's Perana with some new livery? Looks great! The Escort with the sequential was at the Jack's hillclimb we did in Sept.
I hope Goccy got inspired!!

cheers mate. Yeah that escort is a work of art, was running slicks also which a lot of the closed cars at the pointy end were running too.

Yep, as usual GOC wasn't happy with his decision making..

So decided to start putting the old girl on a diet, definitely a cheaper way of getting some bang for buck.
Unloaded about 30kgs, the U frame and the crash bar being almost 15kg a pop.

Big thanks to Bram for dropping past with his manly tool, that being a kick arse impact driver.

Half the subies have front mounts which means the crash bar has gone and the U brace does nothing so, yes.

It’s about the same mate. In all honesty I’d do what I did and run the gauntlet until you get a yellow.

Need to get the car signed off by a CAMS scrutineer then submit the paper work, wait a while, wait a bit more, then book in to the pits to get it inspected.

So after a little excursion at the last Rallysprint, my HID spotties have made their way on to my Patrol and I swapped them out for this LED bar, 80W 4x spots an 2 floods either side.
Hopefully light up the course decently.
