Got the grinder out today, starting on the rear doors.

Fairly straight forward job, just need to get the intrusion bar out by drilling out the spot welds.

Couple of rivets and a bolt in the guide channels to keep the window in place.

Will tidy up with some paint and pinch edging once I get the intrusion bar out.

On another note, I’m finding the grinder quiet therapeutic

Why stop at doors? Go Carnage Toxic Avenger styles. (BTW. In the last video they did on it. They cut the entire car body off and added nitro, and it run the same time as a bog stock Forester XT.

I sent these pics through to your phone. But thought id put em here aswell for others to see. 3 of them are welded on. And there is 2 lighter bolt-on rubber lumps aswell. From what i can tell, they serve no real purpose besides possibbly added mass for NVH absorbtion.

This one is probably the biggest and easiest to do. The lump sits real close to the driveshaft uni / diff. So i guess its there to soak up any minor imbalance.
