2 piece slotted rotors & brembo's shieet trolley hardly seems like a daily at this point more of a track pig by the sounds of it.
Hope you have some track days planned to appreciate these mods!!

Ah, the two piece rotors were all just part of the deal that came with the Brembo. I wouldn't have purchased them new and I'd say they'll have a fairly limited lifespan as they were on a tarmac rally car previously.

$130 for shims RRP, ouch!
+1 to vouching for the HC800's being noisy on a daily. Not reverberating squeal noisy, but raspy taxi noisy. My next set of pads will be NS400's |

Looks good, how do they feel compared to the old setup?
Is there a lot of squeal with those pads?

I'll bet that stops rather well now, looks great too, goes with red and black theme.
Also curious what you think of the pads, my pagids are about half worn now and these were my other choice.

Bit of an update:
Recently changed out the Club Racer pads as they were just too dusty, and very noisy (cared more about the dust than noise though). I am now running Forza FP3 and whilst they don't quite have the same bite, they still stop very well with less dust and no noise whatsoever. Over the past couple of months my car started having idle problems, feeling sluggish and getting flat spots and hesitations when getting on the loud pedal. I got two CEL's come up relating to the oxygen sensor heater circuit so I got the front O2 sensor replaced. $450 later, it was discovered that the problem wasn't actually the sensor but a wiring loom that had rubbed through. The day after picking up the car from this fix I got another CEL, again relating to the O2 sensor heater circuit. I tested the circuit with a multi-meter and discovered that the O2 sensor heater circuit wasn't getting any power at all. I took it back to the mechanic who didn't charge to fix it, and I got them to re-tune the car as a few changes had been made to various tables over the preceding weeks of troubleshooting. Drove it home and the car felt sluggish, just revved out without going anywhere. Almost as if timing was being pulled substantially. Boost gauge was showing 19/20psi but bum dyno didn't agree. A couple of days later the missus and I had to drive to Jarrahdale for a meeting at a potential wedding venue (Millbrook Winery). On the freeway, I struggled to pull away from an old V8 Calais when going from an 80kmh change up to 100kmh. I knew something wasn't right, so I took the car to my usual mechanic and left it there for a few days for them to look over in between jobs. I gave them a list of things I wanted checking (along with whatever they thought could be wrong of course) ... the usual culprits - MAF sensor, engine temp sensor, crank/cam position sensors, purge solenoids, vacuum lines, blah blah blah. After a few days of back and forth they also couldn't find anything other than reading the ECU which was showing it was pulling timing as I suspected, asking for a fair bit of fuel and generally not looking right. I have never been keen on taking a car here, there and everywhere with multiple hands touching it, but I decided to take the car to Tokyo Motorsport and start with a clean slate in regards to the tune. Apparently Jamie jumped in the car within 10 minutes of it being dropped there, he was that keen to work on it. Long story short he spent 10-11 hours on the car, managed to find one issue that was causing most of my problems (a fucking hose to the MAP sensor would you believe), and finished up with a tune that is up around the power I was originally making last August, 312hp (but had dropped to 300-305hp during a recent tune, no doubt due to the car being tuned with the unknown/undiagnosed issue I had). The car is now running 18.8psi as compared to the previous 20psi, making maybe a couple of horsepower more (3-5hp?) but with much more usable torque due to boost coming on earlier. I have blanked out the numbers to try save a poo-fight for when/if I post it on Facebook, as the TMS dyno does read a bit high. Going by my previous tune and figures elsewhere (the thin lines), I've worked out that the TMS dyno possibly reads about 10-15hp higher than my that of my previous tuner. A 1/4 mile time/trap speed will tell the truth but this readout says 247kw (331hp). I think it's more like 315hp given all the above.
