It sure does!
Can hear it clearly here.

Yes the boxer sound has gone and now replace by a more conventional 4 pot sound with a bit of a rasp sound to it.

Not keen to go near boost yet so unsure how it will sound.

My reasoning for the headers was to go space the pulses in an effort to aid spool up.

I will have to take a pic but the factory up pipe has a restrictor pressed into it a third of the way down from the turbo mounting flange .

I read an article in one of the car mags. the guy installed Equal length headers into his 2010 wrx and after it was tuned he only made 5HP out of them. Personally i would rather the sound over the miniscule gain.

Did the article mention the torque gains that he had with the ELH?
Might have only been a small increase in overall HP, but might have been a better increase in torque, always two sides to the story!

Ill try and find the article. Cant remeber torque gains, but he wasnt impressed with the results either way.

IMO the black intake on the bonnet looks odd.

Another small update on the car,i have it booked in to allstar for a tune to suit the new parts fitted and sort out a driveability and idle issue i have in regards to the DBW throttle side of the Vi-pec.

Hopefully be at the motoplex in 3 weeks to run it down the strip.

Update time ; well the car never made it to allstar as the person that was supposed to drop it off for me bailed the night before leaving me with no choice but to cancel.
I have been doing a little road tuning and will say it pulls very nice with knock being eliminated and only running 1 bar of boost.
Spool time is minimal and dialing in the 1000cc ID injectors was painless.

alas i now have trans problems with 3rd and 4th .
Stopped in and spoke to the guys at S technic today and will have a answer for them in a few days as to the options i was given.

Sucks to hear that it still isn't tuned Can't rely on anyone sometimes to pull through for you.

Hope ALLSTAR get this thing running like a dream
