Default My little Pig

As i promised in my introduction thread this is my MY06 CS9.
I am the original owner purchased in October of 2006 from Subaru Osborne park.

It has only a 3 inch Butler built turbo back system that i had fitted in early 2007 and the intake resonator has been removed last week.

Next on the shopping list is a set of coilovers and new rims/tyres combo.

2006 and you've only joined pdiddy now!
2006 and you're only wanting coilovers now!

May I ask: what are you doing with your life? I mean, I'm sure you have an explanation as to why you've not modded your car until now, but it'd probably be pretty out there.
Were you in a coma for several years? Did you get caught money laundering and had to hid out overseas for a while? Were you stuck in an elevator for a really long time – like four years – before help arrived?
Or are you going to tell me that you were "just happy with the way the car was until now"?? Because that, good sir, would be unbelievable.

Well um err,you got me!
To be honest i was bored with the handling an power or lack there of about 6 months into owning it.
I had every intention of modding it,it just never eventuated?
Only recently i caught up with old freinds and have made a few new ones that have race machines has the bug bitten again and the want/lust for more G`s has resurfaced.

haha nice work Alex.

Stephen, you've met our resident interrogator. Hopefully the light wasn't too blinding and he was gentle.

What sort of coilovers did you have in mind? I bet Joe (BALISTIC) has some HSD HR's in stock that will suit this piggy! As for rims, depending on what you want to do, there could be another group buy for ROTA's coming up soon. You may have to be a forum supporter for that offer to apply though.

Hehehe,no i like his style!

Yes im interested for sure,im keen to speak to someone in the field and know how many notes to put away.

As for the rims i am keen on the Rota boost as i like the advan rim of the same style just not the price! and believe for what i am trying to achieve they are in the ball park.

Well its been a while since i have updated/contributed to my thread but in the last few months since starting a new job i have begun collecting parts to continue with my modifications.

I started last year by installing a walbro 255lph fuel pump, replaced the Genuine aircleaner panel for a Apexi panel and bought a tactrix cable to begin Open source tuning.

I taught myself how to tune the standard setup with trial and error and not aiming too high gained some good results which i have never dynoed.
my current tune has been in since late november without an issue.

In the Quest for better handling i have purchased whiteline 22mm and 24mm swaybars for front and rear respectively.
Antilift kit
With the purchase of coilovers still to come.

For better stopping i was going to fit uprated pads and rotors but i recently purchased a set of front and rear Brembo`s instead.
Next purchase will be on a set of braided brake lines.

Driveline is coming in the form of a 2005 Sti 6spd setup complete with rear diff drive shafts and front and rear hubs.

Now i have some more engine parts purchased but at this stage will not be fitted till i have more wheel time with the suspension/Brake and transmission combo.

But i have purchased a Blouch 2.5 XTR with 3inch cover ported
DeatschWerks 300+Lph fuel pump
Equal length headers and up pipe
ID 1000cc Injectors
Processwest top mount intercooler
COBB Tuning intake box
Silicon intake duct

As of this stage some of the bolt ons i have bought are overkill but....

I realise that it would have been smarter to buy a sti but i own the car,its there as a toy and well no other excuses really

Pics up tommorow or when i can be arsed
