You can mount it without the bar, but it requires drilling. I picked them both up in a package for $150 2nd hand.

If i had to buy new, i probably wouldn't bother with the bar. Pretty expensive for what it is.

I'm thinking about plastidipping my centre console. Not digging the current silver look. Has anybody had any experience with this type of stuff?

Should (hopefully) look like this:



(i'm aware it's an 05 interior. just demonstrating the plastidip)
