Nah, not a fan of the prodrives, enkies look ok and are nicely made for a cast wheel but the others I mentioned look great for only being 8.5 wide imo

I have 225's on my 9" and the rim pokes out further than the tyre = mega kerbing concerns. So 9.5 and you would need new tyres for sure.

Don't drool over those NASIOC cars too much, they have practically zero modification restrictions and half of them leave the car hardparked permanently. Think of the pain if you got yellowed..

You've got a clean looking, powerful WRX which is still 100% functional, don't make yourself hate your car by making it impractical and awkward to drive daily. Hurry up and get bored of your VF34 instead, 'cos I want one!

And if you insist on spending more money, buy Mister Two's 6 speed in the for sale section!

This is good advice. Another thing to consider is that our cars are cheap as shit over there. For most people, or maybe just me, i would not want to destroy fenders etc to run a really aggressive offset on an exxy car. A cheap one, hellaflush hellashit i wouldn't care so much.

Dont worry about what people say your car do what you want

If you want to stretch it, the car must be dump on it guts like one in blue to make it work.

If not stick with current rims unless your just chasing the stance then get some pinoy shoes :P

Imo Andy for me your car is perfect as far as the balance between form and function is concerned (not underdone, not over the top). I know you said you are after something a little more agressive but what about painting the prodrives gold/black with some nice wheel nuts (project kics titanium coated revo's haha).

Or: SSR Type F's, do it!!!!

Just dont get a conservative offset like I did if you are after a more 'stanced' look.

Oh and an STI scoop already

225's aren't that bad I have 235's on my 9.5 rims and the guy I bought tyres from said he's put 215's on so it's possible alot of work though coilovers rolled guards etc

Good luck man

Well, had some fun with the car today. Putting along at 50 kmh, all is fine. Stop at a traffic light, and see the temperature needle rising. Immediately pulled over and switch off the engine.

Found coolant everywhere under the bonnet. Towed it to Stechnic, who then said it needs a new radiator or a new radiator pump.

Should be back on the road Monday thankfully.

I had a sort of similar issue. My fuses blew ironically and thankfully on the way to S-technic a month or so ago...gauge kept rising in peak morning traffic on Leach and then falling as I picked up speed downhill....not cool.

Will be fine if Doug is sorting you out Andy!

Yeah, apparently when the car was moving the air circulating made it cool enough. It was only when i stopped the temp gauge shot up.

I stopped the car engine pretty quickly so hopefully no permanent damage.
