not all 2.5's go bang.

mine has run upto 1.9bar and 8000+rpm plenty of times over the last 4 years, and it still wouldn't die (standard 255 engine except for the cams) .

I only removed it as I'm putting the car back to spec C configuration.

Trying to get the dual AVCS heads to work on your wiring loom and EcuTek tune may be opening a bag of worms that will get too hard for the expected end result.

Probably wouldn't have been such an issue if we still had Wizza to bounce ideas off.

That is what I am thinking so it may make the decision for me and just grab/build a short block and stick some cams in it.

^^ Aprilia scooters FTW! Despite the fact its still good for a dollar 20 it still seems ok to get around on it in shorts, t shirt and thongs with a couple of frothies under the belt.
