mate get off the nasty petrol and move to the clean green team
no point in having to pay for more tuning time either
your engine will love you and the evil will be unleashed

From another forum but........Very interesting!

New engine was built, installed and tuned.

Turbo: GTX3071R w/ .82 housing
Engine: MPS Power Factor Drag Edition
Benson Sleeved EJ257
79mm x 102.8mm bore for 2.6L of displacement
Custom MPS Designed Pistons
+2mm Super H beam rods
Billet Crankshaft
Balanced and blueprinted

MPS Stage 3 B25 Heads with:
Kelford R-199-B cams
+1mm Ferrea Valves
Stage 3 porting

Running Link G4 EMS

Car made 485whp on Pump gas at 21psi. Not sure how, honestly. This engine seems to make more power on any turbo we throw at it. We did a GTX3076R and it made 495whp on pump on only 18psi.

P.s I'll be first in line for your Blouch TD05 if you want to sell it on.
American Dave and Soksta like this.

Sending this off my phone so bear with me.

I'm guessing your chasing power, cos power gets the bitches.

The 3076 is the turbo you want Shane, if its more power your chasing. Only due to the flow rate. The issue you may find though is your TMIC's efficiency will begin to fall over, only due to the lack of surface area (I think you still have a top mount?) this then send intake temps up & the ecu should start pulling timing to compensate, thus you lose some of the power you gained in the first instance.

A wise man once told me, go big, or go home. Thanks Burke

So the EFR 6758 would be the choice then as it flows within cooee of the 3071 but had better spool than the 3071 and possibly better than the TD05?

I really wouldn't be worried about spool Shane. I used to be & thought that the wagon with the 3582 would be lag city, but it's not. With a worked 2.5ltr like yours, a 3076 should be hitting target manifold pressure of say 1.6 bar by 3500 ish. I'm pretty sure mine got fully on song by 4500 rpm & that's only a 2.1 ltr

There are lots of variables in what I have written, but you should be able to pull off a daily / decent powered track \ drag car with a 60lb turbo. A 3582 is only a 65lb rated unit.

Hello 500hp

BW EFR 7163 - Flow 60lbs/min (no comment on spool)

I would go for this. The EFR turbos spool so well for there size in comparison to anything else on the market..

or you could be like me and go an EFR 8374
