Fark, that'll be humping along. I think another guy called simon in a R32 belted out a 61xx at the last meet on rcomps with about 500hp ( I think he was top 5 at racewars ) so if you can do a 62 you'll be on a winner.

Cheers Burke, the weak link in the car now is brakes. I have only got WRX 4 pot fronts & 2 pot rears. I do have Club Racer pads in the front & HC's in the back & I will also take a couple of spare discs with me tomorrow as I am sure to crack a front disc I think.

The tyres are the RS3's that I bought back in October. Due to the car being off the road since December or whenever I did the last event, they have not even been used, hell you can even see HANKOOK on the 2 rear tyres in the centre of the tread.



Good old Robbie has also said that the last outing of the day on Saturday, if I get into the swing & feel of the car & I really feel like pushing hard, he will let me use his R Comps. Just to see how much difference it makes & see if i can get into the 60's. I dont think I have enough driving skill nor power to get a 60.99, but if I dont have the attitude to go & get a 60 I'm never going to get one am I.

So much to do today.... Better get myself a coffee & get to the workshop.

I actually want to make a note on her of how the car felt to drive yesterday arvo when I got back.

I don't know how to explain the power & torque, at this stage it does not feel quick. What I can comment on is that if feels tinny. As in, if I jump in Robbies car, it being a 2.5, it feels to have more of a V8 lumpy, strong feeling when you nail it. This almost feels hollow, dont get me wrong it goes well (sideways), but I think because its making power all the way to redline at 8K, maybe the whole sensation is different???

I guess I need to have another drive today & get used to it a little.
