Still at 12.9, I went down after Racewars to try and get a 12.7 which I think the car is very capable of but every time I tried to launch it I axle tramped or if I launched it well with a bit of spin the clutch would stick to the firewall and I had to try to flick it back up :/

I'm going back to Achilles ATR sports as my daily/drag tyre as they seemed to be not too grippy but still got me off the line smoothly! I was also thinking about getting a stronger clutch but I'm worried if I do that the box will become the weak point......I think I'd rather replace a clutch than a gearbox...

Ye9ah definitely keep the clutch as a week point with the 5 speed going down next Wednesday to see what my old girl will do im sure with a bit of practice you will get 12.7 .

That's a good effort Cat even at 12.9 Cat. Agreed on keeping the clutch point as the weak point as well.

In the end, getting lower times become a fruitless search, consistency is where it's at and you seem to have that down pat at the moment.

Yeah I'll just make sure I have a spare clutch lying around, and I had consistency at RW but the plex is much grippier track so I do have to be careful as I've broken a few things there now......not my determination though
