Good to see it all coming back together

Get it tuned and reap the rewards of heaps of hard work and effort.

so, without going through a shite load of pages, did you find out why it did a big end?? or have you put it down to "it was on the way out"

I remember reading that it wasn't running all that well before it did a big end, how does it run with the rebuilt motor? still having the same issues?

When taking the motor out, was anything found that could have caused it to run lean?

It was just a bad halfcut that went dok once in my car, and the issues had been fixed before I took it to the motorplex, apart from the damage from the big end going I was told the engine was in pretty good condition.

the motorplex is shut now so that is in your favor cat. Stay off boost and get it dyno tuned asap. How is the stopping and suspension on the car ? Keep us updated on progress and I look forward to having you kick my 14 second arse at the motorplex when it opens

But it will open again soon.......haha nah the bike is more exciting at the drags, the way the car handles, stops and in just general drives is amazing and once I get some decent tyres it will be even better I'll run it in for 1000kms or so off boost and then take it to ASG..........and then whoop your ass

Congratulations for getting her running again. Someone should organise a GC8 cruise.

No I don't want to rush getting it ready and have something go wrong again so I'll make sure everything is perfect before I track it, but I'll still be there as a flag marshal

also when are you getting the butler exhaust fitted ?
