So I got to have a bit of fun at the Rac track and here is one of the videos...others to come but they take a while to upload :/



I started with the Jinyus on to see how they would handle and when I came down the main straight and jumped on the brakes the car felt like it was floating which wasn't a nice feeling, I used them for a couple more runs but decided it was best to swap to the Falkens and they were much better but still not as grippy as I want :/ so I will be getting some RSR's/AD08's when I can and I may also look at some wider rims!

The one thing I did enjoy about having tyres that give way is that if I braked hard enough into a corner I could get the ass end to slide out nicely and get through the corner somewhat cleanly

I'll give her a break now though cause it was fun at the track but I was having trouble downshifting into second,had a high pitch whistle when hitting boost and my rear diff has gotten considerably noisier.

It doesn't surprise me that things are giving way....considering how I drive it she's done well plans now are to look out for a cheap 6 speed with dccd or have mine rebuilt, replace diff and turbo and do some upgrades on the brakes and suspension and then some major cosmetic work but all of this won't be happening until later this year or early next year.


Here's hoping my next post won't be that I've lost second gear
