A few updates:
-1000KM service has been done, no issues there.
-Lakin Plate bracket arrived to remove the hideous plastic factory item. Should be fitted today or tomorrow hopefully.
-Wheel alignment will be done next Wednesday.
-Exhaust tips install and resonator delete next Thursday.

Besides that I have been having fun in the car... the rain makes it more scary then fun, but that is fun in a way.

Yeah, it sounds pretty nice. Almost WRX at lower RPM and even comes factory with little pop'n'crackle backfire

But it needs a little more volume, so the resonator delete should sort that out with out making it obnoxious... no point having a sleeper if you put a ridiculous exhaust on it

The new Mazda 6 has an electric motor that kicks in after XXX % of throttle, kinda like the Camry Hybrid.

Mazda's version works on the same basis as KERS, braking/coasting charges the battery packs.

I was hoping the MPS was going to get sky-active... more Comp-ration and RPM, but from what a Mazda informant told me this may be the last year of MPS ever... hope not. He also told me that Mazda Australia only sold ~120 MPS 3's last year. So it's not exactly a top-seller...

So today was a lazy day-off. So decided to fuck the factory plate bracket off...

...and install the Lakin Plate bracket. I think you will agree it was a good $100 spent

Then gave it a clean and rolled it back into the garage until I go to work Saturday.
