So finally got around to installing my INJEN Short-Ram-Intake.

Overall impression:
- Very Simple Install
- Very High Quality
- Noticeable Power/Torque Increase
- Better Response
- Scares Old People

The only issue I had was that the Heat-Shield isn't very effective, so I may try to find/make another one. Heat-Soak isn't really any issue anyways as I have found that the engine bay stays relatively cool thanks to the massive hood scoop

Other they that it pulls harder in the lower RPM and much stronger through the mid-high RPM. It isn't a huge difference, but it does help spin 2nd gear a little more easily It will be interesting to see what 1/4 time I can acheive on Wednesday Night.

Besides that still waiting for every man and his workshop to get back off holidays and get the MPS tuned...

Exhaust looks nice Dan. If you go that turbo kit you will confuse many bogans...
The MPS surprised me with the ride. It's not harsh (even with the H&R Springs) yet it corners very flat thanks to its beefy sway bars, 25mm from the factory. Depending on the outcome of my track day I may upgrade to a 28-30mm rear item.

Hahaha. Buy an MPS to terrorise the old folks. I like this man.

Thats good to know about the ride quality Dan. The WRX runs Cusco 2E's which are fine as a coilover. Just the crappy suburban roads makes the car very uncomfortable.

Whats the go with FWD's and swaybar size/setup? 25mm from the factory is B.I.G. for a little car (relatively speaking).

The quality is second to none. Fitment is perfect

Finally secured a COBB Accessport for a good price, only have to wait a 7-9 days for it to arrive
Stage 1 (95 Octane) - 4%HP/11%NM
Stage 1 (98 Octane) - 10%HP/17%NM
The other benefit of both maps is the removal of 1st/2nd boost limiters.

Some of you may have seen my drag times in the "happy thread" for those who have not here is a break down of the night.

I hit my target withing 3 runs.
Run 1 : 14.7 @ 158KM/h
Run 2 : 14.4 @ 161KM/h
Run 3 : 14.2 @ 160KM/h

All my 60ft times were between 2.0 - 2.2, so maybe a little to gain there. I was planning on doing 1 more run but I reached my target of 14.2 (0.4 faster then manufacturer quoted time). I may have been able to shaved another 0.1-0.2 off the time with more practise and the dropping temps.

The main issue I had was the limited boost/power/torque in 1st and 2nd meant my 60ft times were difficult to improve, once it was in 3rd/4th it just felt like a different car! So this will be a good bench mark for when I get the COBB AP set up

The highlight of the night was a R32 GTR. Build RB26 + T88 + OS Gekin Long-Ratio Box... it was in the 11.00 - 11.2 bracket all night with this being the driver second night out with this combo. It was hitting the limiter of 3rd @ 199KM/h by the the of the track!
