There isnt any baffling in that one Craig. But its vented to atmosphere so shouldnt need any. If I make more I think a couple of baffles will help.

Thanks Craig, Russ tells me its your design, are you ok if i work off something similar?

To put baffling in or a piece of foam like the Hyperflow's, it will have to be sealed by screws on the top i suppose, so can be cleaned out?? Still with a "tap" of sorts at the bottom.

Cheers

Baylee, no dramas with the design. It's 2 litres and looks pretty fucking cool.

Simon, it's rev cutting after 100degrees. Ecu has a taper on it so it goes from 7000 to 5000 between 100 to 105 degrees. Never saw any hotter than 105,

Dave, the 06 STi radiator from kel's crash is fine but they replaced it anyway thinking it was broken when it was jut a hose split. Gonna whack that in and see how it goes!

Hmm, the fans don't come on in my car till I hit ~100 odd (maybe more like 98). It's not a subi but I would of thought you could run around the same without issue?

Edit: just looked it up, it comes on at 103

ECU should be pulling timing above X set temp, not changing the limiter area?

Also with mention of the 06 Radiator, it will require some modification I believe & different hoses due to the top & bottom tank on the radiator inlet / outlet. Cheap eBay radiator would be my choice, plus it will increase your cooling capacity.

I can't see the videos due to being at work, but it must be good getting out there, proper race styles. I'll try to com up for the next one & have a sticky beak.

This is how mine is set up currently but will also rev cut for anything above 110 and if it ever gets to 120 it will cut revs down to idle.
