That's good power, but I have to ask - 4th gear on the 6 speed. Usually 5th to get the 1:1 ?

Don't know Rich, when I get it down to the strip that will show the real difference - improvement. Hopefully soon.

Nice power Nick, I barely make more than that on the same 1.3bar and e85.

Here is another I prepared earlier.
I was pretty disappointed to not be able to dip in to the 12's with the new turbo, considering I ran a 13.3 last year with the oem turbo. I'm aware I was over revving it a bit, so my next three runs I backed off a bit but this was still my best run and 60 footer for the night ET-13.24, 1.79 @ 60ft. I have no idea how to get the 60ft lower?? Do I need to hold the revs for a few seconds to build more boost? Or should I be pumping the accelerator around target revs before releasing? Four runs - 13.24, 13.4, 13.3, 13.28 My 60's were all between 1.79 - 1.82. Any advice would be great. Cheers.

Use handbrake to load up the engine to get positive pressure?
using the Perth-WRX mobile app

I'm no expert at drag racing by any means, but here's a video of my 12.65 run if it's of any help. For launch I was just trying to get revs into the right range (5-6k rpm) and then put the pedal to the floor just before slipping the clutch to try and generate some load. Didn't use the handbrake.
I think my 60ft times land around the 1.7-1.75 mark on the good runs, it's just keeping in your power band with shifts after that. EDIT: I notice you shift into 5th before the finish line. Not sure if you can do it in a 6spd, but any chance of ringing it out in 4th to save the shift time?

If you watch the vid closely there is an event of some description as the tacho approaches 6000rpm in fourth gear, the power cuts out for a split second. At the time I thought it was the rev limiter but the shift light comes on at the same time so think it might have been a misfire or fuel cut??? That's why I changed into fifth, all my other runs I hold it in fourth.
Handbrake launches are not easy in awd, I have tried them a few times with little success... Nice run by the way Jack.
