Completed the forms for No Limits today and ordered 2 Mishimoto catch cans from Troy at PSR.
Later I'm going past Tokyo Motorsports to pick up a new set of HC800s as Friday's event ate the last life out of the HCs I've currently got on.

I checked my oil levels the next morning after the track day and had used up just over 1L of oil from full, I've topped it up and thinking of keeping the same oil till after NL, then do an oil/filter change that will stay in there to when the next service is due in Aug.

Car was serviced Mid feb with all fluids changed(diff/brakes/gearbox/etc), it's done one wrx club supercruise, one barbagallo(Friday's), and then just normal weekend city driving.
I'm thinking it will be ok for one more track day in April (NL) before the oil/filter change....Thoughts?

As long as there is enough oil in it, and the color looks ok, it will be fine.
Did all 5 rounds of rallysprint without an oil change.

What oil are you using?

Thanks DC, I won't stress about the oil then for now.

Stechnic filled it with Total Synthetic 5w50 and I'm using the off the shelf Penrite Synthetic 10/Tenths 5w50 for top ups as the Total was impossible to get off the shelf the day I needed it.

You won't get Total of the shelf. Buy it from STechnic. It is not preferable to mix different products.

Yeah I will do that when I drop the oil after No Limits...will get fresh Total oil and buy an extra 3 litres for top ups till next service.
I was forced to buy the Penrite so I'm just trying to get through it, got another 1-2L left, should be done after NL.

Hey btw was it normal for the car to use so much oil at Barbs? I was pushing quite hard towards the end, was one of two cars left on the track after 10pm(the other was Graeme's), did like +15 laps and came in.

How much oil did it use over the whole night?

Yeah something like that, could be a couple less, did these laps at the end then pulled in, didn't really count but had the track to us two, everyone else had enough and went to the outer pits, the clerk let us go for it.

So all night - went into Barbagallo with a fresh top up to full...next morning I checked and it was like under 3/4 (just over middle mark) and I filled it up with ~1L or a tad more.

Cheers Russell, had all 4 rotors glowing bright red after that run.

Hey someone's car had some sort of an exhaust leak that night and had a small fire going...glad he had an extinguisher to put it out or it could have been much worse. Everyone should have one in their cars!

Everyone has to have an extinguisher to run at a track event. Only exceptions are usually RAC skidpan type stuff.
