Lol you have to have very very deep pockets for headwork... that is what usually blows the budget in the build...look at around 5-6k for this with cams etc

Standard 06 WRX single heads and cams will flow circa 600bhp(flywheel) before they start to choke. I dare say the dual AVCS heads will be the same

That made 600bhp before it started to choke. It was plenty quick enough. |

Also don't bother with oversize valves they make fuck all difference.

Nice...but labour cost not factor for you. Add another 2k on top for workshop labour fees

Yeah porting and polishing is time consuming that's for sure. I didn't even think about labour.
I also didn't factor in the cost of correct size valve lifters too. So you're not far off I guess. Just goes to show the cost savings to be had by doing things yourself. |

They have the machining work I specify done and they use the parts I recommend. If they wont do that then some fucker else can build it |
