It got valves, springs, retainers etc. But the only thing that would really increase power in the heads was a mild cam upgrade really. Kelford r199a.

Thats sweet...didn't know.
So we got similar setups except I got bigger/different cams and few higher rated components?
Do you have a Blouch too?
Be interesting to compare power figures in a few weeks

Yeah, I have a blouch. But its a TD05-18G-XT, with 8cm rear. Got the ceramic coated hotside and the upgraded actuator. The upgraded actuator means this turbo physically CANNOT boost less than 18-19 pound. Basically its just a billet wheel TD05. It spools almost instantly. But it just doesnt flow quite enough. I think Ive pretty much maxed it out. A blouch 2.5xtr will perform alot better. I bought my turbo before the engine blew. It would be a good match for a stock engine. But is a bit small for a built up motor.

Im thinking of going a much bigger turbo, external gate screamer, twist mount, get rid of the TMIC in favour of a FMIC, and reverse the intake mani. And see where that gets me.

Ive removed my A/C already, so I have plenty of room infront of the radiator for a thick front mount, and no compressor means I could relocate the alternator and flip the mani.

Nice it should be monster spec after that...
Maybe get a Blouch 3.0xtr, it is their redesigned twin ball bearing garret gtx3076r...its expensive but is a monster minus the lag

I checked out Precision but not enough data on their bolt on turbo... staying with Blouch until there's some real data on their bolt on solution.

Most of the twisted mount turbo cars in the UK used the Billet blouch 30 and 35's. My old GC8 had a blouch Billet 35R on it and it was awesome.

A car with a twisted mount Blouch GT30R would always deliver a lot more power than it's stock position GT30 equivalent. the average seemed to be about 50bhp more although I have seen as much as 90-100bhp.
I've seen a Billet blouch GT30R do over 600bhp (flywheel) on pump fuel with a splash of methanol but this was on a stroked EJ22T engine. They rev considerably better than the 2.5's
