I just bought a 2.5xtr Polka Pickle 3" cover 8cm rear housing. (Haven't got back into an STi but collecting parts for when i do haha)

I had a BBK-L TD05-20g 7cm housing on the 08 STi, was an awesome turbo. I think the 1.5xtr is a good choice will suit your 257 very well .

I was just about to correct it when i realised its an 06 STi. For some reason i saw "EJ207 recommendation". My bad haha. In that case 2.5XTR for sure. I think Dave had a 2.5xtr 10cm on his foz and was making some very nice power that held very strong up top.

- CP Pistons 99.75mm
- Manley H-tuff rods
- ARP Custom 625 head studs
- King race bearings - main and rod bearings
- OEM Head gasket kit (Decided to go OEM instead of aftermarket)
- OEM engine gaskets and seal set
- Killer B pickup
- Oil pump

- Check and polish crank
- Deck block
- Torque plate bore and hone
- Recondition cylinder heads

- Dyno tune

Still deciding:
Blouch and injectors
Headers
Link G4+ plugin
