Hey RJ, what is it now?... 2 sleeps to go?..(its just like waiting for Christmas!!), Can't wait for the results.

I haven't read your entire thread, but I can't see any mention of an upgraded intercooler, I'm assuming your sticking with the standard STI Top Mount? I wonder how it will go with the new combination & extra power? ..... hope it doesn't hold you back too much.

Haha cheers PJ...next 48hrs can't come soon enough.

Sticking with the STi top mount until it becomes a restriction, they're usually good for +-380hp, so it should be fine as I'm not planning on any more than that for a reliable daily.

You started modding yours?

not yet ... prob another month or so (tax refund here we come !!) , Not sure what to do now though, 2 weeks after i picked up the dump pipe I received an offer almost too good to refuse (on a MMS/Butler system), either way its a win,win I guess, just means having to sell the dump pipe if I go the MMS system.

Did some shopping for a few extra bits today.
Got a K&N Panel Filter... I can definitely see how much better that flows than the stock unit just by looking at it.

Also got a new fuel filter...didn't realise that the 06/07 STi fuel filter was in tank as part of the pump assembly serving as both a pressure reg as well as filter.

Tomorrow it finally gets tuned, its been a very long wait.

i use 2 k@n's rj and have them on a rotation. that way you always have a clean one ready and dont have to put your car out of comission while servicing the filter. also allows for ample drying time. always notice an increase in response with a clean filter

What you talking about pressure reg? The FPR is upfront under the manifold.

Thats what they told me at Subaru, that it also serves as one....could be the usual bullshit from subaru parts :/

They're just finishing up fitting the last of the id1000s now... so one more sleep til tune.
It's definitely happening tomorrow and will need about 3-4 hours tuning time, considering it has so many new parts it was to be expected.
