This is a graph from a 2.5xtr equipped forester. Only internals were pistons. Had the usual headers, tmic, injectors, exhaust etc. made about 280kw on pulp, boost came on at about the same time (maybe a smidge earlier), and it also had that similar dip in power right after boost came on.

(Yes i know dyno sheet says vf30, but its a 2.5xtr.)

I'm not a tuner, or a mechanic, or a plumber, or a sparky....

But for some reason, the flat spot at 5000rpm... something in my head is saying its an AVCS problem.

I reckon do the headers. Get it retuned and be happy with that.

You gotta remember that graph i posted up is a MSR graph. His dyno actually has a herd of small unicorns inside the rollers, just like rats in a rat wheel. So its no surprise if it always reads a little high.

I posted it up because it had a similar flat spot at 4k, not to compare peak power.

Well done, must have been a painful wait.

It's made about 60hp more than before right? Get the headers and e85 and you'll be laughing. Remember ASG dyno reads about 20hp lower than it used to.

Can the compression ratio have anything to do with the lower than expected numbers RJ?

As far as im aware the car only spent a minimum amount of time on the dyno getting everything dialled in. Im sure that its something that Sean could resolve if he had more time to play with it. At the end of the day the car is not a dyno queen, the graph is a piece of paper and RJ is happy with how the car drives.

Cant wait to go for a drive cunt.
TROLLEY, ALLPAWS and RJ999 like this.

Haha yeah, waiting for the tune felt worse than waiting for the build
Will try do headers if ultrex has their stock of kando uels in...I didn't do them as they ran out. Well the ~310 hp is to be expected with stock headers according to Sean... yeah I'm a happy chappy, its where I got told it would be at and its fucking fast as fuck...e85/headers tune is going to be epic!
