I dont see a problem with wanting to keep the abortions off the road but I do have a problem with:

1. The government spending so much damn time and money on stamping out any sort of common sense driving or enjoyment in your car

2. The amount of time and money it takes to police the ever expanding list of stuff people are banned from doing

Providing the highway patrol get on their hands and knees with a calibrated measuring device to confirm their suspision the car is to low.......no wait....that would be efficient policing of a new law

I've just been through all this bullshit, raised the car by 45mm (well really about 70mm with the 60 profile tyres) and had to get it engineered, they measure the height of a car in two different ways at the pits, if it's lowered they measure from underneath, if it's raised they measure it from the height of the roof, they have stats for both, while looking for the standard roof height for a 94 WRX Hatch I got 4 different heights ranging from 1,410mm to 1,445, luckily they took my word for it & didn't actually measure it, I've bought two cars that were dumped on their arse on coil overs, one was so stiff I felt the cracks in my driveway and the other was a write off because the guy was going around a sharpish bend, hit a small rock & bounced/speared off into a tree because the fucking thing was so stiff, so I don't really blame them for picking on cars that just about sit on the ground.

just adding more work for the police to do. Now they have to be experts on suspension heights as well.

Exactly, the sooner they yellow sticker these type of cars that sit on their arse. Cause accidents and increase everyones insurance premiums the better.

Just because it look GANGSTA and cool do not mean its safe on crap Aussie roads....
