THINGS THAT SHIT ME...
Curtin Parking and Traffic.

1. Late to Uni because grand-dads caretaker blocked the car in, and we couldn't get them to move the car. I spent 30mins trying to ease the car out to no avail.
2. Park in visitors car parking (with at least 200 empty bays) and dart to exam with about 1 minute to spare.
3. Come out and receive $45 fine for parking in visitors.
4. Question it - told to appeal.
5. Submit appeal online - rejected without a notice of rejection.
6. Question again, and book a meeting with the parking manager.
7. Attend meeting, and get told fuck off as they can do as they please and fine whatever they want to fine. Told to pay up by early jan.
8. Go to pay fine December 24th and Jan 4th, closed both times.
9. Email Jan 6th saying I will be in on Jan 7th to pay.
10. Receive response saying it has been referred to debt collection and extra fees now apply.
11. Email Tracy Grimshaw at A Current Affair to sort the wankers out.


The End.

It sucks greatly but one thing I can guarantee is that parking inspectors are out IN FORCE! during exam times and it proved they had way over sold available bays. So people parked out of the way but on verges etc 'inside the university', there was just no parking left for people whom had legitimately bought a parking permit.

Sure oversell parking permits but when it comes to high influx times take that into consideration don't see your inability to plan as an oppertunity to exploit those whom are not being provided a service of merchantable quality for thier payment.

Universities are always finding a way to decrease the amount of available student bays but not the amount of student parking permits.

Spare a thought for the teachers/staff though as their parking permits are 3-4 times as much as students.

Doing the speed limit on Leach Hwy this morning and missing EVERY set of lights... the dude who does 90 makes it through all of them... How is that fair? Wanker..... Just because I want to drive safely.

Most uni staff/teachers are easily in a position to pay 3-4 times more than a uni student.

lol its all relavtive though. Its not like teachers bays come with vallet and they are thaaaaaaaaat much closer to the buildings then student bays.

there is a reason why i arrive at uni 25 mins prior to the start of my class. And its not because i enjoy being there....

When i use mums staff permit i feel like a god amongst men, starting at 11 and still being able to park within 50ish metres of the building is sensational, compared to when i have a student permit and parking at the far end of the stadium carpark or the hockey stadium and walking for 15 mins sweating like a rapist in the filthy summer heat.
