My 17 year old son phoned me up all hot and bothered wanting me to go and check out a car for him (just got his licence).
I called the guy selling the car and arranged to go and have a look see. So I drive over there (25min drive) and he tells me 'sorry just sold it'.
This is not his fault, I could have given him my number had I thought about it, just to avoid this.....

It still shat me a bit though.

Waiting for P6 load up so I can print out an old schedule because the Construction Manager decides he needs it for a meeting in 25 minutes.

I usually flat out on Fridays anyway, and the other Planner is still on hols.
Just what I needed.

I used to do that all the time. He's getting a bit big for that now.

The last time I took on both of my boys (15 and 13 respectively) they managed to pin me down and there was nothing I could do about it.
A buddy had to drag em off me.

why don't you uni parking guys just invest in a set of fake plates? no more parking fines? problem, parking inspector??

I fucking hate curtin uni parking guys. Was called out with no cooling plant running, was told by engineers they would meet us at plant room ( ie no time wasted getting keys, signing in etc)
Was fixing problem went out to find parking ticket on the car. Told engineering, they promptly called security to take the ticket back or have 1000 + plus teachers, staff, students with no ac.

Never been issued a ticket again :-)

I dont get it. You where parked illegally and got a fine. They then took the fine back but you still hate them?

If you're parked illegally guys. You will get a fine. Its not anyone elses fault but yours. Get over it.
