Both. Pedestrians are allowed to cross the road, the onus is on both parties to avoid causing inconvenience and/or an accident.

I was crossing the road, they came screaming into the area around a roundabout, saw me in the middle of crossing, didn't slow down at all, by the sound of the throttle they possibly sped up a bit and then yelled at me for my affrontery....of just being there.

No wonder they didn't manage to steal the plate, bolts were rusted solid and took ages with a hacksaw blade to remove ... fuggin low lifes.

I sit on ~95-100 in my 80 series in 110 zones. otherwise it mobs through the fuel. But people in a perfectly functional car eg commodore that do 90 in a 100zone... and then it changes to 80 and they sit on 90 still... ??

Happens on the freeway every morning I come to work Matty...most frustrating since I come in between 6 and 6:30 am with not a lot of cars on the road!!
If I see a Series 80 though I'll understand..... as long as you're not in the right hand lane!

Similar happened to me a couple of years ago crossing Wellington St near RPH....plenty of space to safely walk across except the idiot coming towards me decides to change down and put his foot down to scare the pedestrian.
Funny thing was though that there was an unmarked cop car right behind him....siren on...you're booked sunshine! I did have a chuckle....

its like that, when its 100 zone, people will do 100+, when changes to 80, they will do 100. it don't shit me because its not me that will get any fines. it shits me i guess when i do 80 on 80 zone, people come up behind me, then overtake on right lane and then change back to the left lane again, indicating to me that I'm driving too slow when i am doing the limit.

also when you slow down coming to the lights and then some fag speeds up on right lane just to cut you. not sure if this was mentioned before but this really fuken shits me.
