If it is that much of an issue to your, get the rego of a speeding police car. Call up the cop shop and report it. They will then investigate the matter.

I doubt they would get away with it, but I wouldn't bother reporting them if I saw them doing it.

I was told a few years ago, that cops are permitted to drive at 5km over the limit, especially down the freeway, so they could actually pass multiple cars, checking for unlicenced drivers, people using mobile phones etc, as sitting at the speed limit meant they only see the same cars around them.... bullshit story IMO, but I thought it was funny how they could justify breaking the law...

Police are exempt from road rules when it is part of operational duties - so scanning cars on the freeway would count.

End of the day, if you feel angered by it, pull up next to them and abuse them for speeding.
