What you mean more to come? as in more work, yeah I know its a repeat cycle.

But this week's lay offs is the bulk of it, its huge numbers. Everyone is at risk, just a phone call and you're in an exit meeting, then pack up and go.

Defiantly more lay offs . In the next 2 years all the gas supply contracts finish for mining etc to operate their power stations and fixed plant . Supply is no longer state funded and using the gas wont be cost effective .

Alcoa ATM is shitting bricks and looking for options even considering going back to coal . Plus the other factors Economy etc...

1. Semislicks pick up every little fragment of stones and fling up onto my cars paint....

2. Was gone for 30mins and I saw rear bumper has been chipped sure its not that bad or big but it sticks out like dog balls on a white car the scratch has been done sideways as it has few lines guiding it. Fucking people seriously wasn't even parked shitly or anything....

Should I get Oem Touch up which has 2 parts or Get autobarn to mix the code in a pen and get a clear coat aswell?

Never a nice thing! The damage looks like it's cosmetic though, any reason you can't drive it home? Alternatively I would look at hiring a car trailer from your local servo. I'd be very reluctant to leave my car sitting somewhere for 2 weeks

I always park in a car park furtherest from anyone else's car
As there's always some numptys that do not give two f@%k's about damaging your car

This has been happening for awhile now. Chevron seem to be letting 300 odd go each week.

Glad I left when I did.

They are massively downsizing, but that is to be expected as Gorgon & Wheatstone construction winds down. Part of the cycle, it sucks, but its be expected.

Mate of mine was in the middle of a 3 years stint in Texas when he got notification that he was made redundant.
Luckily he was able to secure this 3 year secondment as a permanent position.

It happened just out of my driveway on the farm, so it had been parked in our hangar and workshop yard for that time.

Engine light came on and didn't want to risk the 110km drive to town. Insurance company wouldn't be too happy if I decided to drive and it cooked itself..
