Spokes are dirty still

haha yeah I couldn't get into the groove of the spokes to good. But im not to fussed about them being dirty there as I will never see it.

From memory I think I took that photo before attempting to clean the spokes. But even now, there not much cleaner.

Just being a smartass Jake. I think to prevent this happening again, sandblast and powdercoat or paint, that way you know it wont come back again.

Nah Mike not yet, hopefully tomorrow morning if all goes to plan.

Most of the HF wheel cleaners on the market (trade) are less than 3%. A lot of the car yards have put a ban on using HF on their sites, which means the guys supplying them with chemicals arent going to be stocking any HF cleaners pretty soon. In fact Im not too sure where Im going to get any when I run out.

My rims are filthy with about 5-6yrs worth of brake dust and with just a casual soap over with a sponge when washing the car, suffice to say they never really clean up. :-)

Considering the time and effort, cost of cleaning product and potential average result, if I could just replace the rims with some second hand clean ones for $500, it could be a good option.

Im lazy I think... :-P
