If you can't fix it with a hammer then you have an electrical problem.

Default Same problem

I'm having the same problem with my My03. Installed a alpine deck and since the dash lights don't come on when I turn the lights on. Could you please give advise on what you found wrong with your set up.

Check to ensure that you haven't wired up your earth (black wire) to the illumination wire (From memory it is the Purple wire) of the factory wiring loom.

Default Cluster lights only from Subaru agents?

I'm looking at replacing all my dash backlights, seeing I blow about 1/2 of them. I can only find the globes being sold by Subaru agents at $20 a piece. Now I'm thinking of using LED's instead but, to do this I need to drop the voltage from 12V to 2.4V. I've been to Jaycar and bought the LED's from them. (They couldn't supply me the globes either.)

Bottem line is, should I stay with a clear LED's or will it be less visable at night if I use blue LED's?
