through a stroke of luck i have caught the bus into the city for jury duty this week, so my car was parked up safe & sound at home, otherwise it would have been owned at work parked out in the open! However i was walking down the Terrace when the hail started falling, i jumped on the first bus i saw and ended up going nowhere near where i needed to be.

Our rear patio now has some new sunlight holes, and there was a few interior waterfalls where doors & windows should have been, but nothing too dire. I had to take my dads car to a friends house which offered more cover, as we have too many cars/not enough carports, and in the process managed to drive over a fallen power line (which i didn't see as i was concentrating on the tree falling down next to me, but my sister who was following me told me afterwards)...fortunately it wasn't live

Commiserations to those who have been severely affected, fingers crossed the insurance companies do the decent thing and don't try to wriggle out of this one.

2x 911 GT2's at Porsche next to my work are both FARKED. All the BMWs, Minis, and Mercedes had to be removed from the caryard out front - as they are apparently not permitted to have any damaged cars on display.

everytime i see a car that got f*cked by the storm it makes me cringe!
even worse to see all the wrx's that got nailed
hope all goes well with repairs

we should start a donations thread to help those that may have difficulty paying their excess...maybe for supporters only...although the theory is good managing it will probably be a nightmare....or a cruise...i dunno
