i feel for you guys with damage. i got caught in the middle of the storm while driving home along the coast. hale rd was flooded and windy as HELL! dont know how i didnt get pelted with all that hail but got seriously lucky to get out of it without a dent. a 5min drive took me about 20mins and once i got home and saw the size of those hail stones (some bigger then a tennis ball!) i realized just how lucky i was

Thankfully both my cars missed out on the raining golfballs being in two different locations. Apparently had flooding in the garage and back yard but nothing major. Completlely missed out on even knowing anything was happening. Came to work with a couple of clouds in the sky and left being almost as peaceful. If it wasnt for the pelting pain and small hail on the roof i would of thought it was a small shower. Condolences to anyone who suffered major damage. Now im just waiting for the power to come back on. Not looking forward to having cold showers

geeze, seems like inner perth surrounds and north of river had it bad. I am close to freo and had small hails (in my area) but nothing big, cars are fine. feel for those with damage and hope your insurance covers the damage.

this is what we copped in heathridge

thank god i bailed home early & my mrs picked the kids straight up from school & came home (instead of yakking with the other mums for half hour as she usually does) both cars were in the garage when the hail hit

was really surprised non of my front north facing windows smashed on my house, sounded horrendous my new patio copped a few dents, my neighbours old patio (fiberglass custom orb sheeting) looked like swiss cheese, totally wrecked

Good news - Just Car DOES cover hailstorm damage
Bad news - They already have a waiting list of 800 claim lodgements so far but I imagine every insurance company is like this and will take months to get it sorted
