I've read otherwise?

I googled it a while back and saw shitloads of threads debating it.

I got the centres done on my SSR's about a 3 weeks ago, sent them over east to Craved Coaters. Got a metallic Black, all it cost was $300 not including shipping, they did the best job i have seen with powder coating. Defiantly recommend them.

Perth Powder Coaters will charge about $250 to powdercoat a set of rims if you rock up with tyres remover etc.

Im also interested in getting my rims done whilst searching for tyres, the gold is flaking/ peeling off pretty badly, 16" gc8 rims. Yeh if someone could find out how much to powdercoat and respray gold again i'd been keen for a group buy!

I tryed a product called plastidip to paint my rims its a spray on plastic basically that works great ! had my rims painted matte black for about 6 months now no peeling or scuffs and the finish amazed me looks like a professional job and the best thing is you can do it at home for $40

I contacted Perth Powder Coaters a couple of months ago and they quoted me $95 per rim.
Now I know I've never been good at maths, but that doesn't add up to $250.
I then mentioned Kyms name and now they want $300 each rim. WTF???
Lol.
