Brett @ Joondalup and Grant @ Morley are both good guys.

I have known both of them for over 25 years, my the old man (when he was still alive) was the guru installer that originally put Alberts on the map.

I worked for them myself many years ago, before they were sold off/franchised.

It may have been him that installed the gramophone in my model T? He did a great job, never even voided the warranty....

Dealt with Grant for many years until I just started dealing with one of his contract installers direct being Ryan Itzstein at Auto Intergrations. +61417943963

Another top operator.
Same Ryan that had a green VK with a VR/VS HSV bodykit? He used to work at Alberts Ossie Park, bloody good custom installer. I too got farked over by Alberts Ossie Park, I've been holding back from stirring the pot which is quite unlike me I put an $800 deposit down on getting some work done there (total $3500 worth, not cheap) with I think the managers name was Rob, used to have the blue MX5 with 2 Alpine subs integrated into the boot lid. Anyway he skipped town for some reason or another and I was left out of pocket. After going to Alberts Morley they agreed to take the $800 off their price to install as I had the reciept for the deposit and away we went. Could not thank them enough, top service considering it had nothing to do with them originally.

Holy cow that was nice!

I know what you mean by holding back. I could go in there and yell at them until I'm blue in the face. But I'd rather just let Perth know via the net just how horrible they are.

Picked it up yesterday. Very impressed with the result - they have totally transformed the stock sound and made it heaps better Amazing what a small amp and a 12" sub can do to the stock setup.

Apart from the time it took them (about double what they quoted for - and it's still not completely finished), the service was great. Still got to go back once they've worked out how to utilise the head unit's separate sub controls, so for now it's all connected to the main speakers.

Did I say how good it sounds now?

I'm intrigued at how many people are raving about Grant at Morley. My brother, friends, family & I bought a number of stereos from him back in the day (mostly at Myaree, as Morley Alberts did not exist), and were quite pleased to begin with. Then there came a point where he didn't seem to be at all interested in after-sale service or advice - just sell sell sell. I found it rather disappointing after all the gear that we had purchased from him over the years and knowing that he was otherwise such a friendly, helpful bloke. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a number of the former Ozcom stores were taken over by Alberts, and from what I was hearing, they were fast acquiring the reputation that Ozcom had earned themselves. Over all, I am pleased to hear so many of you are enjoying your experience going to Alberts, but gone are the days where I'll even set foot in his store, let alone spend my hard earned there. Just as well I've not forgotten anything from my many days of installing in the past, and I'm quite happy to purchase the product elsewhere...
