You are most welcome Ross.

Credit should go to you as you had prior experience with the bug and had done excellent research beforehand, with your choice of parts, achieving the good results.

Yes it's 2.0 vs 2.5 and turbo upgrade, but not in the same ball park.

Thanks again Mao, simple package with great results.

Recent flash tune done on a GD STi.

This P.WRX member's STI came in stock. We installed a Full Varex TBE and a Process West CAI, followed by a tune.

Process West Intake and Varex TBE installed on STi:

Initial factory STi yielded 185hp and 265Nm of Torque SAE corrected at the wheels. Varex TBE and Process West CAI, including flash yielded 358.9Nm and 270hp @1.25bar of boost. Very happy with the results.

hey mao... i got your pm but your inbox was full.

in relation to the recent power fc tune on the my00 wrx, do you have an actuator that could improve the boost? also as i have no boost controller is that an issue? i was thinking a grimmspeed 3 port cost wise.

my 99 has td04, wrx gd ic with silicone y pipe, 3 inch tbe, apexi pod filter and silicone under manifold intake. anything else you would recommend? its just a daily

also open to anyones suggestions!

anyhow ill come down in the near future and discuss tuning my 99 as i picked up the pfc.

cheers mao

Had a MY10 WRX come in today for an X-force TBE fitted and a flash tune. The rest of the vehicle was stock.

All credit to Warick today for achieving awesome results on the tune.

First power run achieved 230hp and 310Nm of Torque with just the X-Force TBE. Flash tune yielded 401NM of Torque and 274.9hp.

Hey Mao, just for curiosity sake, what are the gains that you and your team have achieved with a flash tune on the BRZ/FT86?

If you're going to say depends on mods, then I'd say the normal mods that most people would do to a sports car such as CAI and full exhaust.
