I was going to ask the same thing Mao - have a mate who wants to sell a z32 AFM second hand and was complaining when I told him today they were $170 on the forum - he was hoping to get $200+ for it -seeing as though he paid over $350 for it new..

Due to the many questions on the authencity and performance of these AFMs, I will need one or two volunteers to independently test the Nissan Z32 AFM and Impreza AFM.

The AFMs will be theirs to keep and it is a damn good offer, but they must post their findings honestly here.

Also to make it fair, they get to choose the AFM from the lot that arrives at EVO-R.

Ppl hands up in the air!

I have regular AFM problems in my GC8... even after having replaced it a couple of years back (genuine ex Subaru), it ran like new for only about 5 weeks before the intermittent little "flat spots" returned. Haven't bothered with it since, as when it happens it's usually only for several seconds at cruise or light boost, maybe twice a day.

If you need a guinea pig for MY99 GC8, I'm keen. I'm down in Bunbury though & don't get up to Perth much... car is dead stock except for 3" TBE.

Sorry guys both spots have been taken.

Teejays car was dynoed last week on our dyno and putting a new afm in his car would be good because I can compare the power run against his dyno chart.

Rosco's car will be dynoed this weekend. A comparison dyno chart will also be a good idea for the Z32 test.
