Fitted coilovers to couple of late models with +35 plus stretched tyres. Yes you are correct about the lots of work, plus taking into account of premature tyre wear and other safety issues.

All good Koby, at least you've got first hand info from the boys on here. That's what Perth WRX is about. Remember to always get it trial fitted before purchasing wheels if possible. Also make sure that there is a disclaimer in the invoice as you wont want to pay for wheels that will cause you problems later.

We have completely sold out on the GC and GD Coilovers and new stock will be reaching us mid next week. Apologies to those who have been waiting.

Recent STD R5 Coilover install on an MY06 WRX. STD coilovers for the Subaru GC8 and GD models come with fully adjustable camber tops front + rear, dampening adjustable, Patented Monotube Scaling for accurate height adjustments and all neccessary mountings for ABS and Brake lines.

Recent STD Twin Plate Clutch install on a GD STi.


STD Lightened Flywheel Installed with Flywheel bolts Torque in:


Clutch Plates are then aligned with Pressure Plate Torqued on (Note: Alignement tool still in place)



STD Push to Pull Conversion --
1. New bearing is installed:


2. New Push type Clutch Slave cylinder is installed (This kit will work for all types of PULL to PUSH conversions). Alternately, the late model Subaru 2.5 WRX push-type slave cylinder can be installed as well.

We have been busy with STD suspension sales and support, and like to sincerely thank P.WRX for their continuous support.

Below is are recent STD R5 Coilovers install on a GD STi.

With wheels removed, ABS line and brake line bolts are removed:



Macpherson bottom bolts are then removed:


Followed by Top Mount bolts:


Factory STi Suspension vs STD Coilovers.
STD R5 Coilovers for the GD STi come with the added features of Camber adjustable Pillow Upper tops and Graduated Scaling for accurate height adjustments.:

STD Coilovers come with Patented monotube scaling for accurate height adjustments:


STD Coilovers provide all necessary ABS and Brake Line mounts:

Some recent STD Coilovers install on 600+hp JZA80 Supra and Subaru GG WRX Wagon.

STD Coilovers installed on JZA80 Supra.
Front Install- All STD Coilovers come with Patented Monotube Scaling for accurate height adjustments:


Rear Install:


STD Coilovers is the choice for this 600+hp Supra:





STD R5 Coilovers front install on GG WRX Wagon. These come with Camber Adjustable Pillowball Aluminium Upper Mounts with Damper Adjustments as well:


STD Coilover for the GG WRX comes with all necessary ABS and Brake line mounts:
