HDMI to DVI keeps the quality its just going back to VGA that drops it.
Just get new projector mate sell that one will make it not such a big spend.

Blue ray is just not worth watching on anything less than 1080I

NW...it works but as the other guys have said not really HD but probably good enough for projecting for a party etc
