stick on carbon? are you serious!
all you could really do is get a mould of the pipe. create half round shape and secure it down with either welded on screws to the pipe or better yet just paint it black. carbon fibre and im talking the real stuff here (not that cheap and nasty china shit) wont be able to bend all around the pipe without looking like shit. powder coat the exposed pipework and the v-mount shroud and it will look a million dollars. |

Yes stick on carbon.. Fken spending 1000s on getting a mould done for the pipe.
I think it will look great i cant see why it wont work... People do it all the time on car interior parts etc

Davo it wont be fake carbon but the real stuff in sheets. People use it all the time in engine bays. Plus i have a big hole in the bonnent which will keep things cool.. haha

well looks like i can't talk you out of it, so better offer you some advice on the good stuff!
jhemal from current trendz has what i believe one of the best looking stick on carbon anywhere i have seen. i was actually going to use some to recreate the ARC intercooler shroud on the liberty and other bits and pieces. its not cheap, nothing ever is from current trendz, but its the business! |
