The block has had it's day!

The cylinder head is well and truly repairable and any repairs (if done properly of course) should not cause any issues what so ever.

I have seen plenty of cylinder heads in worse shape that that repaired with complete success.

If you insist that the head is not repairable I have a bare pair of heads off a '06 spec C (travelled less than 1000km from new) that I could sell. Also have new in the box cosworth cams and oversize valves.

I think you have to remember that a heap of effort has gone into making this car look awesome as well as the performance side.
It would be a shame not to get it out on the street and enjoy turning peoples heads, it doesn't need a gazzillion HP to do that..
Is it too much to ask who was the dodgy engine seller on Rexnet so nobody else gets stung, as there are a few people selling complete engines on there nowadays.

Best of luck.

JWS -> 2.5L sti motor, put the small turbo housings on, ~1.5 bar and be done for a few months. After motorvation re-asses.

I also have the 02 spec C long motor here..i think i have about $4000 for the long motor(its the 1 out off the rally car..I will post pic's latter.
this motor will bolt into 99-05 turbo Subaru's and either with a manifold change or just engine loom(under the intake manifold) this long motor will run no problems...I can also supply the JDM spec C ecu for it.
