Just go and enjoy the car/event.

It won't be the quickest thing there, so trying to save 1/10th of a second to gain 2-3kph at the 1000m mark isn't worth the time/effort.

Go over it, ensure its safe and have a blast.

*Got the privilege of a few laps out there and my god its epic just to get some runs in!
