Why are you buying four? Are you doing away with the AVCS?
If TK reckon's they're needed, I'd do it, what's another grand or so in the overall picture.
Remember your deck height and head thickness will affect the cam timing, twice as bad on the LH side that cops double the slack.

Doug there only for the exhaust non avcs side. Just need to dial the cams in if there out a degree or two with the timing belt. There not that expensive at all (around the price of those trims i got from ya).

TK thinks it will benefit alot for that reason I'm gonna grab a pair.

Update: 18.09.2009

Got the car back today after getting the 05STI DCCD box installed by doug (cheers for the work done mate).

So decided to fit my carbon WRC mirrors that i got a month or so ago.. Here are some pics, they are really small and i think the size of them actually accentuates the front fenders. Obviously very aerodynamic..

Full interior swap 04STI to s203...

So i ripped out the interior from the car front and rear seat and doorm trims. I weighed the seats roughly and the 04 sti seats weight around 23 kg with rails each, whilst the s203 seats weigh only 10 kg with rails (thats weight saving 101.. haha).

I aslo picked up some 05 GX leather ltd edition door trims (thanks doug) and i think they will go perfectly with the seats as the rear of the s203 seats has a leather trim around the top of the carbon fibre. This saves me the hassle of re trimming my trims.

Of note going to a 04 to 05+ trim means that the switches arent a direct swap. Dont know why subaru would waste dollars for this. But anyway the switches are a little bigger in size. So i just trimmed them down slightly on the passenger, and rear doors and they fit nicely. The drivers side assembly is the same.

Will get the trims installed but leave the seats for a bit til its completely finished..

Im also contemplating puting leather on the roof liner and side of the interior (where all the light grey parts are) to make it all one uniform colour. This will improve the interior presence imo. What do you think??

Sweet Tino are you glad you took my advice

I wouldn't waste your time and $ doing the roof in leather,
same as that other idea you told me about the other day.

Just buy Todes 203 spoiler, you know you want it
