Here are a couple more pics of the wheels on the machine. They came up so great! Cant wait to see them all painted up! Thanks for letting me machine your super exxy wheels mate. Your trust is nice!

No keeping both sets of rims. the white ones will be for track as they are 10.5" wide so can carry wide rubber. The gold ones will be for pottering around..

Car will perform much better with new turbo i think, its all about the power delivery 300 to 600 if you cant get the power down then u should think of how to do it and that may mean drop power. I think with the much wider rubber can go to 305s with no problem this will prevent alot of the issues i had previously.

Im not of the mentality that you need to start with low power and slowly work up. If you have technique which is what the slow power levels teach then theres no reason you cant have a more powerful setting. I think i have the basics so dont see the need to baby myself up to a chosen power level. I will adjust power if the chassis cant put it down.

Update 1/12/2011:

Well it seems the bolt on turbo isnt actually bolt on in nearly every aspect. Surprise suprise!!!!!!!!

1) The compressor housing is much bigger than the old garret GT40R.
2) All of the lines from the coolant to oil are completely different sizes compared to the GT40R and will need to be remade and re-routed.

The compressor housing of the BW 8374 is much bigger than the GT40R due to the BOV located in the compressor, so the radiator support bar and the U-brace have had to be knotched to accomodate housing.

We have even had to resort to changing the standard 12mm bolt that fixes the water pump to a hex cuphead bolt as room is so tight.

Lets hope this brilliant looking turbo actually performs as well as it looks.

BW 8374 on right and garret GT40R on left:

I think you mean the GT40R is on the left in the first pic?

Looks amazing mate! Hope it outperforms the GT40R enough to be worth all the hassle!
