The WRC cars all had the rubber piece at the bottom of the front dam....it aided the aerodynamics...

But that rear wing will create lots of drag for Race Wars....maybe do a run with and one without Tino and see what the difference is...

Looks good Tino. In some of the pics, the proportions make it look like an RC car. Any clues as to which mag? I think the Poms, Japs and Yanks would love it.

This Chris...

Yes i know the wing will create lots of drag but to be honest i havent had the time to set the car up for racewars, so i am not really trying to get every single digit out of the car.

I just want to have video of the subaru and ferrari on the run way together, this is more important to me than times etc..

Race wars update 09/04/2013:

Great innagural event with a few teething issues but im sure they can be sorted out for next year. One big thing is the amount of gravel on and off the track which put an end to my driving as the stone chips were unbearable to see on my cars. Many of the exotic car owners that i spoke to said they were reluctant to bring their cars again until this issue was looked at.

The subaru had some niggling issues after multiple runs, we first thought it was a loose connection to one of the rear coil packs and found the spark was a little low. I think all the dust had a role to play in this issue. But we also think there might be a gasket leak at the header to head junction.

But before that felt very strong.

The Ferrari was flawless as usual but no match in the straight line against various cars. It did crack 240km/h for 800 m rolling starts but i didnt stay for the 1000m.

Thanks to those that got this event up and going and those that made the weekend so enjoyable.
