Your car will make more power and more torque. If you fork out for a good quality FMIC kit with an efficient flowing tube and fin core and correctly sized piping (one side is smaller dia, can't remember which one...)....You will find that it possibly builds boost earlier in the rpm range.

The only slight drawback will be the time it takes to build boost when you floor it...ie, lag...Commonly confused with boost threshold.

Saying that, we are talking a second maybe...from flooring it and the boost guage reading 0 to a second later seeing 1.6ish bar..

You have a HKSGT2835 right? It will go soo much better...Have you upgraded your injectors? Look at some 650's or 800's and you will really be flying.

You will lose throttle response, there are no two ways around that. It does take time from a standing start for compressed air to fill those long run intercooler pipes.

Yes a bigger Turbo like you have will negate the problem somewhat by pumping more air, throttle response will never be as good as a well setup TMIC, never ever.

I would think you would want to do it properly if your looking for more torque from a FMIC. ie a reversed manifold setup with short run intercooler piping.

You have a pretty sweet setup there. Why spoil it with long run intercooler pipes ?

Reversed manifold for and tube and fin for the win!!!

reverse ur manifold or get a v-mount.... to reduce the amount of piping...

you will get alot better response not as good as a TMIC but still worth doing than keeping the topmount in terms of power and torque made...
